At Östermalm in Stockholm, there are many really beautiful residential properties. Generally speaking, they were constructed more than 100 years ago. Now Balder is going to create something similar with the highest quality in an entirely new residential property on one of the remaining sites in Östermalm.
“Balder is realising many building rights for housing in the Nordic countries. When we got the chance to acquire, what in reality is a site, in one of Stockholm’s best locations, we saw it as an interesting opportunity,” says Balder’s CEO Erik Selin.
Balder intends to construct a property of about 5,500 sqm, which will contain 28 tenant-owner’s apartments, approx. 300 sqm of commercial premises and parking in the basement. The building permit was approved last week, so Balder can now take the next step to realise this great project.
