Record interest in Balder’s unique apartments at Östermalm – get an insight into the tenant-owner apartment project CAPREA which is now taking shape

News  –
In September, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the CAPREA project at Östermalm in Stockholm and the first tenant-owners are expected to move in during winter 2023. More than 1,500 registrations of interest have been received and in spring, sales are starting of some of the apartments at one of the district’s best addresses and last developable sites.

In summer 2020, Balder acquired the petrol station located on the corner between Birger Jarlsgatan and Kungstensgatan at Östermalm in Stockholm. At the site where the petrol station once stood, Balder, in collaboration with Skeppsholmen Sotheby’s and Utopia Arkitekter, is now creating 28 modern homes of a first-class international standard.

“Balder is creating attractive homes and workplaces in many locations and for a broad target market. We are also happy to be able to do this at one of Stockholm’s most sought after addresses and we have received a very positive response, not least in respect of the architecture. The fantastic interest shows that we got it right in terms of the creation of CAPREA and this has whetted our appetite to find new exciting projects where we can do something exceptional,” says Balder’s CEO Erik Selin.

The project is based on the key words exclusivity, well thought-out and secure, which pervades all of the large and small choices. CAPREA is being designed with timeless, sober and exclusive materials with long durability for a Scandinavian feel and harmonious overall look. Choices that clearly appeal to a large target group believes Skeppsholmen Sotheby’s which is handling the sale.

“We have never seen such great interest for exclusive apartments in Stockholm. More than 1,500 registrations of interest have been received even before we started advertising. Many people have stated that Balder has got it right with the design of CAPREA and view the company’s strength and good reputation as a guarantee for the best execution of the project,” says Anders Elbe, Real Estate Agent at Skeppsholmen Sotheby’s.

Sales will commence during 2022 and the first buyers are expected to move in during winter 2023. Read more about the project and get an insight into CAPREA on www.balder.se.
